Men I Trust play Progresja in Warsaw on 22 June 2026. Formed in Montreal in the mid-2010s, the trio of Dragos Chiriac, Jessy Caron and Emmanuelle Proulx crafts a lean, melodic pop that drifts between dream pop and understated electronics. Clear guitars, round bass lines and a calm, close-mic voice set the pace, borrowing a slow groove from funk and R&B. From the early records Men I Trust (2014) and Headroom (2015) to Oncle Jazz (2019) and Untourable Album (2021), the band has tightened its writing around mid-tempo climates, repetitive structures and minimal arrangements. Self-produced and careful with textures, they carry that aesthetic on stage with a steady, unhurried pulse and a focus on cohesion rather than showy effects.
Opening, Evan Wright brings a solo set shaped by indie rock, psych-folk and a hazy country touch. California-born, raised in New Jersey and based in New York, he writes, records and mixes his own material, keeping melodies front and center. Hushed arrangements and slightly veiled guitars frame songs that move in small shifts and suspended moods, closer to a diary than to big gestures. His intimate approach sets a measured tone for the night at Progresja in Warsaw.
