Crowbar

Crowbar brings its New Orleans sludge to Zaklęte Rewiry in Wrocław on 31 July 2026. Led by guitarist and vocalist Kirk Windstein, the band works within slow tempos, downtuned, weighty guitars and a rasped vocal grain, blending doom roots with a hardcore sensibility and that distinct NOLA grit. Since the early 90s, they’ve built a catalogue that keeps this frame tight and focused across albums like Obedience Thru Suffering, the self-titled Crowbar, Odd Fellows Rest, Sonic Excess in Its Purest Form, Symmetry in Black and, more recently, Zero and Below.

On stage, the center of gravity is the riff: unhurried, compact, and geared toward a steady sway rather than speed, with brief melodic openings cutting through dense, somber atmospheres. Expect a set that spans eras, turns on themes of wear, recovery and resolve, and lets the space between notes hit as hard as the chords. A straightforward, road-shaped show from a band anchored in the NOLA scene, delivered up close at Zaklęte Rewiry in Wrocław.
