Holy Fuck

Holy Fuck bring their hands-on blend of live electronics and indie rock to Hydrozagadka in Warsaw on 4 October 2026. Founded in Toronto in the mid-2000s by Brian Borcherdt and Graham Walsh, the group works as a tight unit where bass and drums lock with banks of synths, samplers and hacked gear played in real time. No preprogrammed backing tracks: patterns loop and shift, grooves build gradually, and the edges lean toward krautrock drive, noise textures and a pulse close to techno.

Across a run of albums — the self-titled debut (2005), LP (2007), Latin (2010), Congrats (2016) and Deleter (2020) — the band has nudged its sound toward more rhythm-forward writing, folding in clipped vocal lines and pared-down pop motifs while keeping a raw, immediate feel on stage. Live, Holy Fuck favor repetition and controlled improvisation, stretching simple melodic cells into dense, percussive structures that turn on small changes and sharp breaks.
