Niklas Strömstedt - Tyck om mig

On 4 December 2026 at Växjö Konserthus in Växjö, Niklas Strömstedt brings Tyck OM mig, a concert built around his craft as a Swedish pop singer and songwriter. From his early days as a DJ, through the Lasse Lindbom circle and on keyboards with Ulf Lundell, Strömstedt shaped a style anchored in melody, concise song forms and a calm pop-ballad tone. His solo breakthrough arrived with En gång i livet (1989) and the single Sista morgonen, followed by Om! (1990). The path continued with Halvvägs till framtiden (1992), Långt liv i lycka (1997), Du blir du jag blir jag (2001) and Två vägar (2008).

Alongside his own records, he has written for other artists, collaborated with Marie Fredriksson, and joined Triad, behind Tänd ett ljus. In 1994 he formed GES with Anders Glenmark and Orup, associated with När vi gräver guld i USA, reconnecting with the trio in later years. Tyck OM mig folds these chapters into a live set that threads together radio-shaped pop, understated ballads and clear storytelling in Swedish. Across decades of songs, Strömstedt revisits material that links his solo work with collaborations and group projects, keeping the focus on melody and the directness of his writing.
