Ben Folds brings his Paper Airplane Request Tour to Göta Lejon in Stockholm on 6 December 2026. Since then he’s carved out a solo path that moves between piano‑rock, ballads and chamber‑pop, from Rockin’ the Suburbs and Songs for Silverman to Way to Normal and What Matters Most. Along the way he’s explored orchestral formats, worked with the yMusic ensemble and writer Nick Hornby, and regularly reimagined his catalogue in symphonic settings.

The Paper Airplane Request format is simple and playful: the audience writes song titles on paper planes, sends them to the stage, and Folds builds the night from those picks. It’s a solo show built on interaction, quick arranging and storytelling, where he moves freely through Ben Folds Five staples and solo material, pulls out deep cuts, and reshapes favourites at the piano.
