Benjamin Ingrosso - What Happens Next?

Benjamin Ingrosso brings What Happens Next? to Scandinavium in Göteborg on 24 October 2026. A singer and songwriter from Danderyd outside Stockholm, he has carved out a place in contemporary Swedish pop with a sound that moves between melodic pop, sleek electropop and more organic songs in Swedish. He started young on stage in musicals and first broke through by winning Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2006 with Hej Sofia. After a spell in TV and theatre, he shifted focus to writing and recording, entered Melodifestivalen in 2017 with Good Lovin’, then won in 2018 with Dance You Off, representing Sweden at Eurovision the same year.

His releases trace this dual track between international pop formats and Swedish-language projects: Identification (2018), En gång i tiden (del 1) and (del 2) in 2021, Playlist (2022), then Pink Velvet Theatre (2024). Along the way he’s written and produced with names tied to European pop and electronic scenes, including Felix Sandman, Alan Walker, Ofenbach and Purple Disco Machine.
