Born in England and known for his work as a guitarist and songwriter with Radiohead, Ed O’Brien has been forging his own path since the 1980s, less in solo work than in the art of texture. Soundscapes, counter-melodies, sonic colors and choirs: his signature has woven itself into both the urgency of The Bends and the more electronic and experimental turns of Kid A and Amnesiac.
With his solo project, initially under the name EOB, he opened another space, more personal, between alternative rock, atmospheric pop and ambient touches, fed by a stay in Brazil and a taste for rhythms that breathe. The Blue Morpho tour extends this approach and accompanies the announced arrival of a new album in 2026, this time under his name.
On 12 October 2026, at the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, Ed O’Brien presents an evening conceived as a face-to-face: an "An Evening with…" format to enter into his songs and moods, as close as possible to what defines his sound.
