VM Radio touches down at Het Sieraad in Amsterdam on 19 June 2026 with a blend of afro-deep grooves, indie dance accents and melodic house/techno threads designed for a late-night flow. At the center of the night: Sam Shure, Berlin-based producer and DJ who fuses agile melodies with organic textures and a sense for arrangement shaped by early piano training with his father, Egyptian jazz musician Basem Darwisch. His path runs from downtempo sketches on MUKKE to more focused club material on Stil vor Talent, with tracks like Kasra and Nandoo defining a sound that balances rhythmic tension, pliant basslines and harmonies that unfurl over time.

On stage, Shure navigates between warm, percussive foundations and crisp synth lines, letting motifs breathe before tightening the groove. His album Lanconia widened the scope between vocal moments and atmospheric detours, a palette he now condenses into sets that move from introspective passages to full-bodied momentum. Expect steady, soulful rhythms, layered percussion and gradual builds that carry the room without rushing, aligning neatly with VM Radio’s hybrid mindset: deep roots, melodic drive, and a clear route from early sway to late propulsion.
