Pierre De Maere

Pierre de Maere will stop at La Nef in Angoulême on 27 November 2026. A Belgian author, composer and singer, he has shaped his world between francophone pop, chanson and electropop. Self-taught and having spent some time in photography, he made his mark around the turn of the 2020s with Potins absurdes, Regrets and Menteur, before releasing Un jour, je marierai un ange, a title that established his direct writing and firmly rooted melodies. On stage, he delivers a set where immediate choruses, elegant synths and a sense of storytelling intersect, supported by a precise stage presence without unnecessary effects.

After the EP Un jour, je, conceived with his brother Xavier de Maere, he released his first album Regarde-moi in 2023, which placed his songs at the heart of the Belgian and French pop circuits. He then followed with Mercredi in 2023 and a cover of These Walls in 2024 in collaboration with Dua Lipa. At La Nef, these standout tracks and more recent pieces will be presented, between pop tension and electronic nuances, in a format tailored to the venue. Opening act at the start.
