On July 13, 2026, Cannons bring their sleek electronic pop to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Formed in Los Angeles, the trio — Michelle Joy on vocals, Ryan Clapham on guitar and Paul Davis on keys and production — shapes songs where retro synths, unhurried rhythms and soft-focus melodies sketch a late-night skyline. From their early EP Up All Night and Night Drive, through the atmosphere of Shadows, to the more recent Fever Dream and Heartbeat Highway, the group keeps refining a blend of dream pop, nu-disco and slow R&B pulses.

On stage, Cannons lean into warm analog textures, round bass lines and guitar lines that shimmer rather than shout. Joy’s featherlight voice sits upfront, carrying intimate themes with a steady, understated groove. The set moves between drifting ballads and mid-tempo tracks built for a night drive, with Fire for You — heard by many via Never Have I Ever — as a natural pivot. A show shaped by luminous synths, cinematic moods and that feeling of motion running through their catalog.
