Save Ferris

On August 6, 2026, Save Ferris plays The Garrison in Toronto. Born out of Orange County in the mid-90s, the band built around singer Monique Powell and a brass-forward lineup blends ska rhythms, melodic punk and pop, a sound shaped on club stages and the Warped Tour. After the EP Introducing Save Ferris in 1996, they landed It Means Everything in 1997, setting their identity with tight horn parts and catchy refrains; their cover of Come On Eileen became a calling card. Modified in 1999 leaned further into pop‑punk while keeping the offbeat pulse. Following a break in the 2000s, Powell relaunched the project in 2013 with a new formation and the EP Checkered Past in 2017, featuring New Sound with Neville Staple. Recent singles show the band still writing and recording, from Xmas Blue (2023) to Lights Out in the Reptile House (2024) and Get Dancing (2025). On stage, Save Ferris lines up brisk rhythms, sharp brass lines and Powell’s clear vocals, moving between early tracks and newer material with the same direct, dance‑ready drive that built their reputation.
