Piche

At 29, Piche has established himself as a singular figure on the French music scene. Behind that name, Mike—his given name—claims a hybrid identity that defies labels: a singer who performs in drag, not a drag performer who merely sings. He writes his music with his brother, together drawing on their heritages and differences to create an inclusive, incisive sound. Piche will be in concert at the Transbordeur on 17 March 2027 at 7:00 PM.

Originally from the south of France and of Algerian and Romani descent, Piche has built a career at the crossroads of disciplines. A dancer, choreographer, performer, singer and rapper, he treats each medium as a piece of the same puzzle, aiming to give his art a holistic dimension. His approach, instinctive and direct, leads him to challenge conventions both on stage and in public space.

Piche is the first drag queen to enter the album charts with his EP Festin, to perform at the Printemps de Bourges festival and to represent French drag at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Brought to wider public attention by his appearances on Drag Race France, Piche is notable for his sense of spectacle. In 2023 he released his first single, “Confess.” In 2025, as a finalist in the inaugural All Stars edition, he blended camp, pop culture, rap and social engagement.

Whether in drag or not, Piche plays with codes of masculinity and femininity, often with humour and boldness. Refusing barriers, she champions inclusivity and the freedom to express oneself.
