Info
On October 16, 2026, at 109 — l’Embarcadère in Montluçon, Ben l’Oncle Soul brings soul back to center stage. Originally from Tours, the singer-songwriter first emerged between the cover EP Soul Wash and a debut album that combined French lyrics, retro grooves and instantly catchy choruses.
Since then he has broadened his range: chanson and pop with À coup de rêves, a big-band jazz detour inspired by Sinatra on Under My Skin, and subsequently a more contemporary soul and R&B with neo-soul inflections on Addicted to You and Is It You?. Having become independent by launching his own label, he cultivates a quiet freedom and collaborations that feed his songwriting.
On stage, Ben strikes a balance between soul energy, jazz subtleties, hip-hop touches and a choral sensibility inherited from gospel. The set forges links between his different eras, alternates vintage nods with modern textures, and showcases a supple voice that lets the songs breathe. Join us in Montluçon for an open chapter, refocused on sound and the present moment.
