SLIFT arrives at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on December 2, 2026 with its dense and electrifying psychedelic rock, born on the Toulouse scene in the mid-2010s. A trio led by brothers Jean and Rémi Fossat, with Canek Flores on drums, the band forges ahead with heavy riffs, insistent rhythmic loops, and sci-fi atmospheres that tilt toward space rock, without forgetting the garage energy of their early days. After the EP Space Is The Key (2017), SLIFT stretched the format with La Planète Inexplorée (2018), then confirmed a longer, more immersive writing with UMMON (2020): long-form tracks, incantatory vocals, saturated textures, somewhere between krautrock, stoner, and contemporary psychedelia. With ILION (2024) on Sub Pop, the formula gains depth—more expansive, yet also more melodic. On stage, SLIFT sustains this material continuously, letting the songs morph and respond to one another, for a set that unfolds like a journey.
