Giedré

Giedré — what she likes in life is writing funny songs about things that aren't very funny. And what she likes even more is singing her funny-songs-about-unfunny-things on stage, because the lights are so strong they make her look ten years younger. At least that's what she believes, though people aren't fooled. So she's heading back out on tour, with a new maxi best-of package — no fries, but with her tracks, at least in her family's eyes (who always confuse her with Barbra Streisand). After all the time she's been waiting in that dark room, she's written about 150 songs, maybe more, but she can't count past that (then again, you rarely need to count past 150). So she picked her favorites, the people's favorites, wrote some new ones, and now she's back on the road to sing them to those who are far from home but who have something in their eyes that hurts.

The tour stops on January 15, 2027 at 7:00 PM at the Transbordeur. But if you're not far from home and nothing in your heart is hurting, come anyway — if only to check whether stage lights really do make you look younger. (And if you don't get the reference, as young people say, brush up on your classics.)
