Khamari - To Dry a Tear Tour

Khamari, an R&B singer and songwriter from Boston, is bringing his To Dry a Tear Tour to Berlin. On September 6, 2026, at the Metropol he will show just how close contemporary R&B, restrained soul, indie-folk and pop can come to one another. His songs are compactly constructed: clean guitars, unobtrusive rhythms, and plenty of space for the voice. Live, that intimacy remains tangible; the melodies move smoothly, the dynamics stay controlled, and the lyrics turn inward without becoming overwrought.

Since his first singles at the end of the 2010s, Khamari has pursued an approach that thinks in moods rather than genres. On his debut album A Brief Nirvana (2023) this approach is distilled: pared-down forms and more expansive passages interlock without jarring transitions. On stage he shifts between spare setups and slightly richer arrangements, always with the voice at the center. In Berlin, songs from A Brief Nirvana and his singles from recent years are on the bill—carried by a sound that leaves room for pauses, nuances and subtle shifts.
