Eiffel in concert at La Vapeur on October 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Eiffel is the rock project of Romain Humeau. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Romain Humeau has recorded 12 albums. Beyond the codes and standards of rock, his protean productions move through multiple registers and periodically change their skin without losing the thread of the songs.

Influenced as much by the art rock of Bowie, the Pixies, Lennon–McCartney, XTC and Talking Heads as by Bach, Brel, a certain kind of rap and a certain kind of electro, Beck, Vian, Coltrane, Depeche Mode, Latin American music, and baroque and romantic traditions, Eiffel is a constant revolution.

After nearly 1,000 concerts in France, Belgium, Quebec and Switzerland, and strengthened by a closeness to its self-styled hardcore fans “Les Ahuris,” Eiffel is a tangible entity, with no virtual avatar.

If “À tout moment la rue,” “Sous ton aile,” “Place de mon cœur,” “Tu vois loin,” “Toi,” “Sombre,” “Te revoir,” “Chercher,” “Echos,” “Je m’obstine,” “Cascade,” “Beauté du diable,” “Hype,” among others, have formed the substance of so many concerts, the tracks of “La peur et le vent,” a forthcoming album whose finishing touches are underway, are written with the stage in mind.

Change at every level. A musical turn tinged with soul, a blending of 1980s impulses with the coldness of the world as it runs today, and guided by the principle of using no machines on this album. Spacious, raw lyrics and warm vocals. A desire to emphasize that live and studio lineups can change and evolve according to the music.

The release of “La peur et le vent” is scheduled for September 2025 and will be accompanied by a tour.
