AMÉMÉ

On 16 May 2026 at Das Zimmer in Mannheim, AMÉMÉ (Hubert Ameme Sodoganji) takes over the decks. The Benin-born DJ and producer divides his time between Brooklyn and Berlin, shaping his sets from organic rhythms and clear club structures. His sound blends Afro-inspired electronics with tribal percussion, spiritual vocal samples and influences from deep house and techno — warm, percussive and with slowly building arcs of tension.

As founder of the global community One Tribe, he sees the dancefloor as a shared space. The project continues as an event series and label and reflects his approach: grooves in the foreground, restrained basslines, intricate patterns and a collective flow that carries the crowd without overloading it.

AMÉMÉ has received support from major names in the scene; Black Coffee regularly plays his tracks. Releases have appeared on Watergate, Abracadabra and MoBlack. With high-energy DJ sets he has already performed on stages from Ibiza and Berlin to Tulum and Burning Man — always with a focus on timing, percussion and the right dose of melody.
