Info
On 6 November 2026 Joseph Kamel will perform at the Théâtre Royal in Mons. Between chanson and pop with folk influences, the French-Egyptian songwriter builds a set around voice, guitar and lyrics. Kamel began writing early in French, nourished by the singer-songwriter tradition and contemporary pop. After the exposure he gained in 2021 via The Artist on France 2 his audience grew, but on stage he sticks to the essentials: spare arrangements that serve the story, with the voice up front.
His album Miroirs (2023) forms the backbone of the show: songs about identity, family and relationships, delivered in a direct tone with melodies that linger without forcing themselves. Expect an intimate arc, from gentle storytelling to more driven passages, where the guitar shapes the dynamics and the lyrics set the direction. In Mons Kamel brings his current chapter live, leaving room for nuance and contact with the audience, somewhere between dreamy folk chords and crisp pop hooks.
