Info
On July 3, 2026, Sébastien Tellier will take the stage at the Opéra de Monte‑Carlo for a live show built around Kiss The Beast, his seventh album, and the songs that have punctuated his career. A multi‑instrumentalist with a distinctive voice, he moves between pop, folk and electronic music, returning to a direct pop songwriting approach while preserving the taste for experimentation that runs through his work. One thinks of La Ritournelle, Divine or Roche, which have become touchstones, but also of the new songs in which he probes the boundary between instinct and reason, animality and humanity — the central theme of his return to the studio.
On this album, Tellier distils and unfolds his favourite textures, supported by Owen Pallett’s strings, Nile Rodgers’ guitar and contributions from Kid Cudi and Slayyyter. On stage, he revisits this sonic spectrum with arrangements that glide from lush synth pads to bright guitars, from slow pulses to choruses that take hold. The concert is conceived as a journey through his world, between reality and imagination, where the new tracks converse with his classics to offer a coherent and emotionally resonant traverse of his discography.
