On November 9, 2026, at La Machine du Moulin Rouge (Paris 18th arrondissement), Montreal’s Despised Icon arrive with Shadow Work, their seventh album. With a near‑unchanged line‑up, dual vocals and a compact rhythm section serving a deathcore that probes themes of resilience and the integration of one’s shadow. Between sharp accelerations, heavy grooves and dark melodies, the band brings together its death‑metal and hardcore touchstones without straying from the course it has set since its beginnings.
CARNIFEX
Carnifex present Necromanteum, their ninth record released on Nuclear Blast. With the arrival of guitarist‑composer Neal Tiemann and orchestral arrangements scored by Spencer Creaghan, the band hones a deathcore with black‑tinged hues, plays with broader arrangements and cold atmospheres, while maintaining the aggressive immediacy of the riffs and breakdowns.
