Left Lane Cruiser

Left Lane Cruiser will be at Petit Bain on June 10, 2026 at 5:30 PM. Led by singer-guitarist Freddy J IV, Left Lane Cruiser is a blues-rock band from the American Midwest. Far from pretending to be hobo vagabonds for the sake of a contrived image, Left Lane Cruiser has truly lived the blues for more than twenty years, bringing their freestyle jams to crowds around the world.

Bayport BBQ Blues, the band's latest album, was cooked up in a van rumbling down the highway, driven by two musicians who were cooked and overexcited, crossing the lines and desperately heading for rest and redemption in the nearest parking lot. It’s a record about the juice that gets the crowd dancing, about the smoke that lifts the spirit.

Recorded on old-school analog by Jason Davis in his Fort Wayne studio, and featuring cover art by artist William Stout (Ramones, Fred McDowell, Iggy Pop), Bayport BBQ Blues has a heavy sound and a big heart. For Left Lane Cruiser, the blues is enduring and easy to feel.
