Papa Roach

Papa Roach will be in Paris on December 1, 2026, at the Adidas Arena. Formed in 1993 in Vacaville, the band first made its mark at the crossroads of nu metal, rap rock, and alternative metal, before shifting its songwriting toward a more melodic rock without sacrificing the guitars’ bite. Fronted by Jacoby Shaddix’s voice, with Jerry Horton on guitar, Tobin Esperance on bass, and Tony Palermo on drums, the quartet alternates abrasive delivery and clean singing, immediate hooks and rhythmic impact.

On stage, Papa Roach moves through the eras that shaped its trajectory, from Infest to Ego Trip, including Lovehatetragedy, Getting Away with Murder, and The Paramour Sessions. The choruses get straight to the point, the riffs drive the songs forward, and the lyrics dig into themes that have accompanied the band over the years: psychological tension, relationships, and mental health. Between the energy inherited from their Californian beginnings and a sense of songcraft learned from engagement with mainstream rock, the live show strikes a clear balance: intensity, melody, and a sound that retains its edge while remaining accessible.
