Info

On 19 May 2026 at Gretchen in Berlin, Jacob Allen, aka Puma Blue, returns to Europe with his full band and a new album. Following the minimalist, introverted antichamber, he reveals a groovier side, with songs that sit between ethereal R&B, jazzy hues and dark ambient shades. Live, the band opens up spaces for improvisation and close interplay, shifting between quiet, almost-whispered moments and clear, driving patterns. The new single "Desire" stakes out the direction: fresher tempos, deep basslines, more physical presence, without giving up his intimate signature. With airy guitars, warm keys and drumming that breathes rather than booms, Puma Blue delivers a compact set focused on material from the forthcoming album.

Support comes from Tony Njoku. The London‑based songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist weaves a falsetto-leaning voice, electronic textures and repetitive motifs into an open form between experimental pop, ambient and contemporary composition. His pieces move from still expanses into nervous rhythms, blend R&B and hip‑hop edges and rely on finely layered arrangements. As an opener, Njoku builds a fluid atmosphere and opens the space for Puma Blue's new grooves.
