On 21 November 2026 DeWolff will perform at PLT - Theater Heerlen in Heerlen. The Dutch trio — Pablo van de Poel (guitar, vocals), Luka van de Poel (drums, vocals) and Robin Piso (Hammond, Wurlitzer) — hail from the “deep south” of the country and for more than fifteen years have been melding psychedelic soul, southern rock and gospel into a warm, analog sound. On stage everything is about interplay: gritty guitar riffs, pulsing organ parts and tight rhythms, with two-part vocals that open up the songs.

DeWolff’s recent work makes that approach clear. Love, Death & In Between set the tone with expansive grooves and pulsating backing vocals, while Muscle Shoals, recorded at the legendary FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio under the direction of Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes), brought the band closer to their American soul roots. Live, these worlds merge into long arcs of tension and compact, breathing songs that leave room for improvisation without losing the hook. An evening in which DeWolff shows how vivid and distinctive their mix of soul and rock sounds today.
