Info
BlackHawk brings its Nashville-born country sound to Coors Event Centre in Saskatoon on July 6, 2026. Formed in the early 1990s by singer-guitarist Henry Paul with Van Stephenson and Dave Robbins, the band carved out a space where three-part harmonies meet a mix of country, country rock and a touch of pop. Their first run of albums — BlackHawk (1994), Strong Enough (1995) and Love & Gravity (1997) — set the blueprint: melodies up front, guitars both acoustic and electric, and lyrics drawn from personal stories and road-life reflections.
After Stephenson’s passing in 2001, BlackHawk kept going with a refreshed lineup, releasing Spirit Dancer (2002) and later Brothers of the Southland (2014), staying active on festival stages and club tours across the U.S. Guided by Paul, also linked to Southern rock outfit The Outlaws, the group balances tradition and modern radio formats without losing its live edge. Expect tight vocal blends, clean riffs and songs that bridge the early years with the present — a straight-ahead country set built for a room like Coors Event Centre.
