Parra for Cuva

On October 1, 2026, Parra for Cuva will present his new album Nacar at Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne. Behind the project is Berlin-based producer Nicolas Demuth, who, since his earliest releases, has carved out a clear path between electronica, ambient and modern classical influences. Organic instruments, delicate textures and melodic motifs form the core of his sound—shaped by albums such as Majouré, the collaborative Darwîś, as well as Paspatou, Juno and Mimose.

For Nacar, Parra for Cuva expands his music with a new visual layer and a live staging that deepens the relationship between sound and space. On stage, floating piano figures and processed guitars meet subtle percussion and warm bass; between introspective passages and driving patterns a set emerges that works with dynamics without losing its moments of calm. New pieces sit alongside carefully reworked tracks from recent years, linked by precise sound design and a strong sense of atmosphere.

As a collaborator with peers such as ODESZA, Ólafur Arnalds, Glass Animals and Monolink, Parra for Cuva has continually refined his voice. In Cologne he presents Nacar as the next step in that development: a concentrated live experience that retains his melodic signature while more fully integrating the visual dimension.
