Kid Kapichi « Down the Rabbit Hole »

Kid Kapichi arrive in Nantes on 9 December 2026 at Le Ferrailleur to perform Fearless Nature live, their album released in early 2026 on Spinefarm Records. Led by Jack Wilson and Eddie Lewis, the Hastings four-piece stays true to its abrasive mix of punk, alternative and post-punk, with massive guitars, a delivery close to spoken word and lyrics grounded in real life.

Written during the summer of 2024, Fearless Nature captures a turning point for Wilson, where the anger that previously ran through the band’s writing gives way to fear and intimate vulnerabilities. This shift is audible in tenser tracks that extend their obsessions with mental health and social tensions without losing the blunt impact that defines them.

On stage, Kid Kapichi opens a new chapter. After the departures of Ben Beetham and George Macdonald in 2025, the shows are now carried by Lee Martin on guitar and Miles Gill on drums, longtime associates of Wilson and Lewis. This lineup injects fresh energy into the live set, blending new Fearless Nature songs with tracks from earlier records—from This Time Next Year to Here’s What You Could Have Won and There Goes The Neighbourhood. A set built for venues where chanted choruses meet snapping riffs.
