Cass McCombs « Interior Live Oak » Tour 26

Cass McCombs & Band live: On June 16, 2026 the California songwriter will play the Lido in Berlin. With Interior Live Oak, his 2025 double album, he returns to the more direct song structures of his early years. For this he has gone back to Domino, the label that also released Catacombs and Wit's End. The new pieces were mostly written and recorded in Northern California, with contributions from long-time collaborators such as Jason Quever (Papercuts) and Chris Cohen. The songs keep a clear shape while leaving enough room for shifting hues between folk, indie and country inflections.

On stage McCombs and his band bring this material into sharp focus: spare, precise arrangements, guitar and keyboard motifs that breathe, and vocal lines that stay close to the storytelling. Interior Live Oak is central and reveals an artist who keeps his means lean and puts the story front and center. A concentrated set that makes the grounded quality of the recordings palpable without obscuring the expansiveness that has characterized his discography for years.
