Three figures from instrumental hip‑hop and electronic downtempo meet for a shared tour stop: Blockhead, ProleteR and Arms and Sleepers will come to the Kantine am Berghain in Berlin on 25 September 2026. In addition to new material, they will present a collaborative track produced especially for the tour.
Blockhead
The New York beatmaker returns with a live set including visuals, tracing lines through 25 years of output. Between sample‑based collages, subdued beats and cinematic atmospheres, he links his solo work with more recent projects: the 2024 album Mortality Is Lit! (Future Archive Recordings), his collaboration with Aesop Rock on Garbology, and the rap project The Aux.
ProleteR
The Toulouse‑based producer blends jazz samples, boom‑bap grooves and electro‑soul into a sound that pairs swing accents with contemporary production. His tracks breathe old‑school nostalgia while remaining firmly rooted in the present — precise drums, warm melodies, refined sampling and a feel for dynamic drops.
Arms and Sleepers
The project of Mirza Ramic, started in Boston in 2006 and now based in Berlin, moves between experimental hip‑hop textures, ambient and post‑rock. After numerous albums and EPs, What Tomorrow Brings (Pelagic Records, 2024) marked the most recent step — 2026 will mark the 20th anniversary.
