Luc Langevin - L'illusionniste

On February 16, 2027, at the Galaxie Amnéville, Luc Langevin returns with a new show focused on his grand illusions. True to his taste for precision, he strings together creations designed specifically with his long-time collaborator, magician Stéphane Bourgoin. Each sequence probes the mechanics of secrecy, the manipulation of attention and an attention to detail, carried by polished lighting design and music that sets the tempo.

For this fourth work, the illusionist explores the duality between head and heart. He creates a space where logic collides with the desire to escape reality, and where explanation stands alongside mystery without dissolving it. The audience moves through scenes that unsettle familiar reference points, alternating intimacy and expansiveness, storytelling and pure performance, in a constant back-and-forth between what we think we see and what eludes us. It’s an opportunity to rediscover the Langevin signature in a production conceived for the Galaxie stage in Amnéville.
