Julien Santini takes over Le Prisme de Seyssins on February 4, 2027 with a one-man show that twists the conventions of stand-up. Between absurdity, self-mockery and gentleness, he unfolds personal observations, draws on his own journey and nudges reality off-course in small jolts. On stage he embraces his vulnerability and cultivates a sideways move: meaningful silences, off-kilter retorts, poetic digressions. We follow a character out of sync who turns awkwardness into comic material.
His writing loves turns: an aside, a confession, then an absurd flip. No showboating—rather a sense of counterpoint and a rhythm that creates an almost theatrical play. Santini moves between raw stand-up and the stage, stringing together situations and characters and enjoying the genre’s codes. In Seyssins he presents a shifting show, shaped in the moment, where each detour opens a new avenue.
