Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Forum in Le Mans, the BeBop Festival lines up a rock evening led by Skip The Use and The Inspector Cluzo.
Skip The Use, led by Matt Bastard, has been crafting a sound since 2007 that blends tense rock, punk pulses and electro touches. From their early days to more recent releases, the band has sharpened songs with direct choruses and taut guitars. On stage their approach is no-nonsense, backed by a precise rhythm section, delivering tracks designed to be sung back in chorus without detour.
The Inspector Cluzo, a guitar-and-drums duo from Gascony, asserts independence in life as in music. With no bass or frills, they mix blues, funk and rock in a stripped-down format where every riff and every hit take up the whole space. Their songs, marked by the earth and manual labour, carry a rough groove and a very grounded feel.
Two complementary acts united by the same appetite for the stage, as part of the 40th edition of the BeBop Festival.
