Renan Luce - Joue Repenti

Renan Luce returns to Morlaix on 12 December 2026 at SEW Morlaix with Joue Repenti, a concert in which he revisits the album that laid the foundations of his songwriting. Born in Paris and raised in Brittany, he made his mark with stories of everyday life, characters sketched in a few strokes and clear, memorable melodies. On stage he favors a stripped-down, almost acoustic format in which voice and lyrics take center stage, supported by a tight-knit band.

With Repenti (2006), his folk influences and nods to the waltz and to the narrative ballad are plainly audible. This event dives back into the repertoire that defined his writing, balancing an apparent lightness with a precise view of our ordinary lives. Since then, Renan Luce has continued with Le Clan des miros, D’une tonne à un tout petit poids and a self-titled album, but it is these early songs to which he here gives renewed momentum, rediscovering the simplicity of his beginnings and his taste for storytelling.
