Born in Paris, Solann is a singer-songwriter who forged her practice between theatre, dance and visual arts before refining a clear, stripped-back neofolk rooted in chanson. With guitar, then piano in hand, she delivers precise lyrics that probe the relationship to the body, the night, the tensions of femininity and class lines. First revealed online during the lockdown, she has since carved out a distinct path with a series of acclaimed releases: the EP Monstrueuse in 2024, followed by Si on sombre ce sera beau in 2025, both written with producer Marso. On stage, her direct writing and minimalist arrangements create an unvarnished face-to-face where every word counts.
