Soviet Suprem

On October 17, 2026 at the Forum in Vauréal, Soviet Suprem presents its contraband cabaret from the East. Behind the aliases John Lénine (R.Wan of Java) and Sylvester Staline (Toma Feterman of La Caravane Passe), the duo stages a musical theatre where political parody fuels the pulse. On stage, costumes, slogans and a wink of irony frame a mix of electro-Balkan, hip-hop, punk and brass-band revelry.

Their repertoire draws on L’Internationale, Marx Attack and other dancefloor manifestos, alternating chanted refrains, heavy beats and brass that heat up the room. Soviet Suprem recounts a fictional epic, subverts the codes of propaganda and transforms them into danceable material. The performance shifts from thoroughly ironic discourse to explosive choral moments, with the dynamic of Eastern sound systems in its sights. A direct, choreographed set in which each track snaps like a slogan and the party serves as the unifying thread.
