On May 29, 2026, L’Usine in Istres hosts a double bill where two singular voices answer each other.
First noticed with Madame, Lancelot returns with Pas assez, a new EP that explores lack, the need for love, and the expectations social pressure imposes on masculine identities. French chanson tinged with danceable pop, a soft, low voice, and lyrics that brush up against intimacy: he plays the tension between moving arrangements and stripped-down words. Simple poetry, restrained melancholy and modesty run through his tracks, which depict the everyday’s dissonances without heavy-handed lyricism.
Facing him, Marie-Flore presents Ex aequo, an album where love is treated like a duel. Her sharp pen alternates between caress and thrust, between feverish rock and more elegant orchestrations. At piano or guitar, she blends confessional warmth and directness, urban pop and singer-songwriter craft, to dissect impulses, doubts and reignited passions.
Two contrasting yet porous worlds, brought together on stage by the same emotional intensity, from whisper to radiant outburst.
