Mo'Kalamity & The Wizards

Mo’Kalamity & The Wizards will be at EMB Sannois – Espace Michel Berger, in Sannois, on June 5, 2026. A singer, songwriter and composer of Cape Verdean origin, raised in France and based in Paris, Mo’Kalamity blends roots reggae with touches of dub and soul, nourished by Caribbean and African-American rhythms. Her lyrics, both spiritual and grounded, address elevation, responsibility and humanity.

Her travels from Kingston to New York and her encounters with Jamaican musicians and producers have shaped her world and reinforced her commitment to authenticity. With The Wizards, she relies on a live lineup built around a bass-and-drum pulse, carefully crafted vocal harmonies and horn or keyboard arrangements. She sings in both English and French, with a repertoire that tackles social, personal and conscious themes.

On stage, the set draws on Shine, her fifth album, as well as her earlier records, offering a journey that highlights the band’s dynamics and the melodic clarity of her songs.
