Caloé leads La Jam du Dimanche #PlacesAuxJeunes with her approach of thinking the voice as a true instrument. Originally trained on the violin in an environment steeped in classical music and singing, she found in jazz her playground and writing ground, where improvisation shapes both interpretation and composition. She writes her own lyrics, crafts pieces of flexible structure and moves between chanson and jazz, with possible openings toward samba, bossa nova, soul or rap depending on the onstage collaborations. Surrounded by instrumentalists from the French and international scene, she favors living forms that listen to the collective, where arrangements remain fluid and the moment prevails. As part of this jam, Caloé initiates a space for exchange and musical curiosity, between characterful song and a more open jazz expression, allowing timbres and rhythms to speak.
