On November 28, 2026, at Le 106 in Rouen, Meryl comes to showcase a sound at the crossroads of rap, dancehall, shatta and urban pop. Born in Le Lamentin, initially a songwriter and melody writer for others, she asserted herself as a solo artist with Béni, the EP Ozoror and then the album Caviar, where her voice takes center stage. On stage, she moves from Creole to French without a break, alternates between clipped phrasing and sung choruses, and explores variations of flow and vocal textures.

The instrumentals, highly rhythmic, blend Caribbean percussion, deep bass and arrangements calibrated for live performance. Her writing, direct, slips between intimate narratives, echoes of everyday life in Martinique and nods to contemporary urban cultures. The set advances by contrast: punchy tracks, more laid-back moments, and transitions that preserve the tension and club-like momentum.
