The Dark Side of the Moon

The Dark Side of the Moon will perform at Espace Mayenne in Laval on 21 November 2026. Born from the coming together of musicians who have played with Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum, the quartet brings together Melissa Bonny, Hans Platz, Jenny Diehl and Morten Løwe Sørensen. The project carves out its path in melodic metal, blending folk, symphonic and power elements, with dense arrangements, precise guitars, a pronounced rhythmic drive and a central role for Melissa Bonny’s voice.

On stage, the band moves between reinterpretations of themes from film, TV series and video games and a handful of original compositions. Released in 2023, the album Metamorphosis laid the foundations of this identity, balancing straightforward song formats with an imagination nourished by soundtracks. The set alternates narrative atmospheres and more direct, upfront passages, playing on contrasts and the effectiveness of the riffs. It’s an opportunity to discover a European formation that assembles its influences with clarity and emphasizes both songwriting and sonic impact, all within a live setting designed for the group’s dynamic.
