Kid Francescoli

Kid Francescoli will play Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on 27 November 2026. Behind that name is Marseille native Mathieu Hocine, a musician and producer who moves at the crossroads of electronic pop, dream pop and a chiaroscuro kind of dance. From his earliest intimate tracks with synthetic arrangements up to With Julia, he has shifted the centre of gravity toward a more pronounced vocal dialogue. Play Me Again opened a strand that sits between indie pop, electronic chanson and Balearic hues, while Sunset Blue established a more contemplative atmosphere without losing an appetite for supple tempos. On stage, Kid Francescoli presents this repertoire in a more organic form: keyboards, drum machines and guitars find their balance, the vocals hover weightlessly and each piece breathes. The live show alternates gentle pulses, muted swells and airy melodies, sketching landscapes that invite movement. An evening to apprehend the full scope of his project, between intimacy and collective momentum.
