Info
On November 9, 2026, at Paloma in Nîmes, St. Paul & The Broken Bones arrive with their Alabama-born soul, steeped in rock and R&B. Formed in Birmingham in 2011, the band revolves around Paul Janeway’s distinctive voice, driven by a tight rhythm section and immaculate horn arrangements. The lineup features Jesse Phillips on bass, Browan Lollar on guitar, Kevin Leon on drums, Al Gamble on keyboards, Allen Branstetter on trumpet, Chad Fisher on trombone and Amari Ansari on saxophone.
On stage, the collective strings together tight grooves, gospel-tinged ballads and more psychedelic excursions—a signature honed across albums from Half the City to Angels in Science Fiction. Regulars on major stages and international festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, they have shared the bill with The Rolling Stones, Lizzo and Black Pumas, and were even invited by Elton John to his Oscars party. In Nîmes, the group returns to essentials: a possessed voice, precise arrangements and a live energy that keeps soul firmly in the present.
