Info
Camille takes over L’Embarcadère in Boulogne-sur-Mer on January 15, 2027 for a concert centered on her primary material: the voice. Since the early 2000s, Camille Dalmais has been developing a songwriting approach in which French chanson crosses paths with pop, folk and vocal experimentation. From Le Fil to Music Hole, from Ilo Veyou to Ouï, her repertoire plays with languages, timbres and rhythm, alternating between spare arrangements and organic pulses.
On stage, she assembles loops and counter-melodies, sculpts polyrhythms, and blends body percussion, breaths and silences. This very physical approach to singing opens spaces where words circulate differently, in French as much as in English, in close relation to acoustic textures. The concert thus explores various facets of her discography, with an emphasis on vocal construction and the collective dynamics of singing.
Her offstage work also nourishes the live show: from the Nouvelle Vague project to her songs for film, from Ratatouille’s “Le Festin” to the scores she wrote with Clément Ducol for The Little Prince and Emilia Pérez in 2025. At L’Embarcadère, Camille presents a set that draws on these materials to trace a clear, direct journey through her universe, between language play, melody and pulse.
