Constance « inConstance »

Constance returns with inConstance, a one-woman show that draws on her vulnerabilities to feed a gallery of vividly alive characters. As writer and actress, she blends her sharp writing with a supple performance, effortlessly shifting from confession to unexpected comic turns. We follow her as she stumbles over her emotions, dismantles her certainties and turns intimate chaos into stage material, between black humour, tenderness and clear-sightedness.

On stage, Constance conjures figures that answer each other, rub against reality and speak what is usually left unsaid. She plays with fragility, the absurd and the demands of daily life, without pathos, with that mix of gentle cynicism and raw poetry that is her hallmark. The text, co-written with Pascal Duclermortier, finds its balance in staging by Éric Chantelauze, which leaves space for both the narrative and the metamorphoses.
