Julien Lieb

A finalist on the eleventh season of Star Academy, Julien Lieb became known for a precise, deeply felt and generous performance. Working between pop, soul and French chanson, he treats his songs like film scenes, with a sense of detail that runs through both sound and words. His writing, careful and personal, carries direct lyrics designed to be experienced on stage as much as they are to be listened to on headphones. Each song becomes a playground for nuance, articulation and breath, serving a deliberately cross-cutting, multigenerational repertoire.

After the collective experience, Julien Lieb continues on a solo path and hones a world that goes straight to the point, balancing modern melodies with contained emotion. On stage he seeks precision rather than showmanship, strings songs together with a narrative dynamic and lets the voices take the leading role. He will perform on 29 September 2026 at the Pasino Partouche Grande Motte in La Grande-Motte, in a concert conceived as an intimate exchange with the audience, where the precision of the arrangements serves the intensity of the interpretation.
