Kneecap « Fenian Tour »

Info

Kneecap land in Rome with the Fenian Tour, taking over Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone on 17 June 2026 as part of Roma Summer Fest 2026. The Belfast trio — Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and producer DJ Próvaí — shape a bilingual rap that switches between Irish Gaelic and English without blinking. Born out of West Belfast, their writing leans on deadpan humour and sharp social commentary, turning everyday scenes — nights out, precarious work, local politics — into tight, street-level narratives. They play with symbols, poke at taboos and reframe the lingering aftershocks of the Northern Irish conflict with satire and a steady dose of self-awareness.

On stage, the group keep it direct: lean beats, quick pivots between languages, and hooks that feel as chanted as they are sung. The set connects their early viral tracks to their first full-length, with room for newer cuts linked to their autobiographical film. No posturing, just detail-rich bars and a live approach that folds tension and humour into the same flow. It’s Kneecap’s way of making politics, precarity and pleasure sit in the pocket of the same rhythm, straight from Belfast to Rome.
