Placebo celebrates its 30th anniversary and will stop at Zénith Nantes Métropole on 7 October 2026. For the occasion, Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal are revisiting their beginnings and bringing back songs from Placebo and Without You I’m Nothing, some of which have not been performed live for more than twenty years. The set is conceived as a return to their roots, driven by taut guitars, dark bass lines and that singular voice that shaped their sound.
Since 1996, the band has cultivated an ambiguous, provocative imagery and a direct songwriting style that have shifted the boundaries of British rock by challenging the codes of gender and masculinity. This tour highlights that formative period, capturing the energy and tension of the early tracks, now replayed with the experience of the duo.
In parallel, Placebo presents Placebo RE:CREATED, a reworking of their first album that extends this onstage immersion into their early years.
