Freddy and the Phantoms

Freddy and the Phantoms play RIGA in Hvidovre, Denmark on October 3, 2026. Rooted in the Danish rock scene since the early 2010s, the band led by singer-guitarist Freddy shapes a blend of electric blues rock, classic rock drive and light psychedelic haze. Live, the focus is on guitar-and-organ dialogues, sturdy riffs and mid-tempo pulses that nod to the 70s without nostalgia. The set moves from Americana-tinged ballads to darker, moodier numbers, fed by images of Nordic landscapes, travel notes and contemporary social concerns. On stage the format stays classic and efficient: guitars and keys locked to a grounded rhythm section, giving room to interplay rather than showmanship. Years of studio work and regular touring have tightened a sound where rough blues edges, psych nuances and folk-rock songwriting sit naturally together. The show builds on dynamics and texture, letting grooves simmer, opening pockets for solos, then pulling back to the song. Straightforward, warm and road-worn.
