Peter A.G. brings decades of Danish songwriting to the stage with a direct, story-led approach. As singer and principal writer of Gnags, he’s long mixed pop rock with flickers of reggae and funk; in solo mode he pares things back, leaning on clear diction, half-spoken phrasing and lyrics that fix on everyday scenes, sly portraits and social angles. Live, he keeps the focus on the narrative and the contact with the room, letting groove and text move side by side rather than compete.
For this dinner concert, he appears with Beatwave, joining forces in a band setup that carries the songs without weighing them down. The music breathes, leaves room for the words and shifts naturally between close-up moments and fuller arrangements, keeping the feel warm and unforced throughout.
